I am sooooooo tired. I have been spring cleaning all morning long. You know, cleaning, not just in the regular areas, but all those spots also that usually get overlook, like the windows (okay I clean those more than once a year btw), doors, under weird places, inside cabinets, on top of closets.. you get the idea.
I got lots done and the house is clean everywhere, I can take lots of things out my famous list :). I still have some left for tomorrow, but not too much. It is good that spring cleaning is only once a year.....
Anyway, that leaves me with no energy to write a post so I thought I would include in today´s this "Before I was a mom" poem that someone sent me by email. Isn´t being a mom great? I posted this same poem when I first started blogging, but most of you didn´t read my blog back then so I feel it is okay :) You don´t mind right? :)

Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests, or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love,
the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
My sweet girls, I love being your mommy

Such a sweet post, your daughters are beautiful.
What a beautiful poem! Thanks for sharing it, Pilar. And don't you just love a spring-cleaned house? : ) I might try it someday!
Oh how beautiful...both the poem and your girls! But I know exactly what you mean. I wouldn't trade being a mom for anything in the world.
BTW, now that you're done spring cleaning your house. Would you come do mine? I mean it's only a plane ride away :o)
I agree the poem and the girls are beautiful. I think I will copy it for my sister, that is a new mom.
Hi Pilar!
Someone emailed that poem to me a while back, but each time I read it, it makes me appreciate being a mom!!!
Thanks for sharing that here, and I hope you get rest today!
What a precious poem! I can't see the picture though, but I've seen others and I know they are beautiful!
Spring cleaning is tiring but just feels soooooo good to get it done! Then you can admire your handiwork......and go get a pedicure, lol!

Love that post! Our kids can drive us crazy but what would we do without them!!
My step-mom sent that to me again last week (I've read it before)...isn't it a great reminder of our blessings? I just love it.
It looks like Noelia is squeezing her sisters so tight that their smiles are stretching. She is so funny.
Tag you´re it again! I never did get the game of tag! But my boys love it and I guess I am getting into it in the bloggy world.
Come on over and see how to play this one. It was fun!
Hope you have a great time this week. We are going to be painting and cleaning too for our guests. I am not exactly looking forward to painting. btw .. need ideas for colors and schemes for our bedroom. Any ideas?
What a lovely poem...I like the photo of your girls at the end. :)
I've read that before, but I loved reading it again. Boy have I changed a lot since I became a mom! Thanks for reposting the poem.
This reminded me that I really, really need to spring clean...
