From my heart

When I grow up…. (spiritualy it is)

When I grow up I want to be a bold witness for Christ. I do not want to think twice if I should share His love while in the street. I want for people to see clearly that there is something different in me. I want them to see such a bright light in me that they would want to know what I have that they don’t. I want to be a pure vessel for Him, one He can use freely because there won’t be any other desire but to please Him in me.

When I grow up I want to be a godly woman. One whose husband and children will “rise up and called her blessed” like the woman in Proverbs 31. I want to be a wife that is submissive, supporting, a helpmeet like God intended me to be. One able to make her husband feel like the only man on earth. One that can help her husband lift a burden off his shoulder instead of putting more weight over him.

When I grow up I want to be an example to my children. I want my girls to see a submissive godly woman that walks daily with her Savior. I want them to see how ladies are supposed to act instead of learning from the wicked world around us. I want them to learn to love their husbands as God intended us to do because of their mom’s love for their daddy. I want to spend time with them and make them feel unique and special and loved, so loved.
When I grow up I want to be able to supply my husbands needs, take care of my home, play with my children, always look presentable, and do it all with a smile. It is not impossible, super proverbs 31 woman did it!, but for me it is so hard.

When I grow up I want to be a friend. One that can be relied on. One that will be encouraging. One that will listen when needed and offer her shoulder when needs to be cry on.

When I grow up I want to be more like Jesus and less like myself. I want to be able to put myself aside and give myself to others so I can show God’s love in me.

I am 31 now. I know I am not all grown up this way but it is my desire to be more like this everyday. What is it that you desire more change in your life? Mind sharing?

Hi girl! Long time no talk! jeje
When I grow up I want to never raise my voice at my children and always be under control of the Spirit!
I want to have many more passeges of the Scripture memorized and be able to say them in Spanish to anyone who I witness too in Spanish of course.
Oh and most of all I desire to be a better listener. To have the wisdom when to speak and when to be silent.
Un abrazo!! Te aprecio mucho!

HI again. I do have a picture that will work for a before picture at Christmas time. ¡OOO que gorda me senti!

You can do it with God´s help. Don´t feel down about it just plug away at it. It may take time but be encouraged with any little bit of loss and keep on going. I am charting my progress at

It´s been fun and they even give me awards... well virtual awards.. jeje
