Christmas movies

Got a question for ya'll (yeah I learned english in the south) and this time everyone has to comment ok? even if you don't know me :)

I am looking for the best christmas movies to watch this season. So I would like to hear at least 2 of your favorites. Do it soon because I have to start looking for them. One hint about me so this can actually be helpful: I don't watch black and white movies and also the newer (but clean) the better. Yeah, I know, the best are the classics but I don't think I have ever watch "It is a wonderful life" and those other ones that everyone considers a must every christmas........ don't kill me.... I don't know what happens to me when I see black and white or old... my mind colapases ;)

Thanks ladies, looking forward hearing what you have for me.

Well it's not black and white, but it is old. I love White Christmas and watch it every year. Another more contemporary one that I like is Jingle All the Way with Arnold Swartzneggar. (sp?)

I'm looking forward to reading what others have to say. My very favorite is "It's A Wonderful Life". It seems several of the newer ones that would be really good have some not-so-good things in them. I like "Home Alone" once you get past the first part. We watched "The Twelve Dogs of Christmas" a few years ago. We all enjoyed it. I remember there was one thing in there that wasn't nice such as the lady had a low-cut dress or a man making suggestive remarks. Why do they have to put those things in otherwise good movies? I don't think I've seen "Jingle All the Way". I'm taking notes...

Also, we like Little House on the Prairie. They have some Christmas ones that are good.

Ok so... Somone has already mentioned White Christmas. But one that is romantic and funny is "Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby and Fred Ester. It´s an old one though. And I guess another one we have watched on occation is Home Alone.
Heres a link I found but honestly I don´t know half of them. jeje

I watched a new one to me recently: The Christmas Shoes. I cried and cried. I also agree with the comment above. Holiday Inn is my all time must watch every year movie. It is in color, but it is an oldy. We also love to watch the newer Miracle on 34th Street. The kids laugh and laugh at the new How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The girls and I enjoy watching the American Girl:Samantha movie. It is about Christmas time. I am sure I have more, I will just have to think on it.

If you have access to the hallmark channel, there are some great movies there. One of my favorites is "The Christmas Card". My all-time favorite Christmas movie is "Holiday Inn".

Wow, thanks ladies, although I have to say some of those are pretty old. ;). I will be checking into some of those.

Pilar, you have access somehow to American TV, right? Someone mentioned Hallmark. We have Media Center where we can record upcoming TV. I checked yesterday for Christmas movies. There were A LOT of them. Some didn't sound good; but, there were many Hallmark-type of movies. Just a thought...
